Crab spider aided by camouflage...
Often a crab spiders are aided by camouflage in its hide-and-strike way
of capturing prey. The off-white colour of this crab spider blended in perfectly
with the petals of a flower called Coat Buttons (Tridex procumbens) that
was introduced to Southeast Asia from South America as an ornamental but now grows
as a weed in open, grassy areas.
