Crab spider with butterfly prey...
With four strong pincer-like front legs and quick-acting venom
from its fangs, a crab spider is capable of capturing prey many times its size. This one
has landed itself a big and juicy meal, a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family called
the Leopard (Phalanta phalantha phalantha).
