The same spider as the one in the previous photo. It had caught its prey while waiting in ambush on
Coat Buttons (Tridax procumbens), a creeping plant introduced from
Central America as an ornamental but now grows as a weed on roadsides and open, grassy space. Compare
the size of the spider to its prey.
