Among Malaysia’s butterflies, the Green Dragontail (Lamproptera meges virescens)
must surely rank as one of the most interesting species because of its long, drooping “tails”
and partly transparent wings. In flight, it resembles a dragonfly, with its wings
beating so rapidly they appear as a blue haze.
