Another ant killed by fungus...this ant (not Camponotus gigas) died clinging to the tip of a blade of lallang (Imperata cylindrica). The parasitic fungus can be seen as a white mould, also at the joints of the ant’s exoskeleton, between the head and thorax, under the abdomen and on several of the legs.
