Neurothemis fluctuans...
Dragonflies hunt into the late afternoon or early evening, possibly aided
by their excellent eye- sight. They perch on twigs, grass blades, or leaves at the water’s
edge, waiting to grab small insects that come within striking range. It was nearly dusk when
I photographed this specimen at the Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden in the mid-1980s.
