UP CLOSE WITH SPIDERS – PHOTO GALLERY
This crab spider not only mimics the kerengga or weaver ants (Oecophylla smaragdina)
but preys on them as well. I have seen this species a couple of times and managed to photograph it
only once. This picture was taken in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, in the mid-1990s.
