This Yellow-Lined Epeus was photographed beside a forest trail in Kepong, outside Kuala Lumpur, in the early 1990s. This jumping spider was very “jumpy”, so I had to coax it to crawl onto my left hand while I held the camera in the right hand. Sorry about the dirty fingernails!
