UP CLOSE WITH SPIDERS – PHOTO GALLERY

This picture was taken in Ulu Bruas, Perak, in the mid-1990s. The spider was found in secondary forest. This species appears to be not uncommon, but is it a member of the Pholcidae family? It has a large “foot-print” and its extremely long and thin legs straddle over a fairly large leaf.
