UP CLOSE WITH SPIDERS – PHOTO GALLERY

This picture was taken right in front of my house in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, in the mid-1980s. This shows that lynx spiders can be found close to human dwellings. The spider had caught a fly on a potted tangerine plant (Citrus) when I saw it on my way out. I took a few shots and went on my way. The bluebottle fly or common blowfly (Diptera: Calliphoridae) was big as the spider.
