UP CLOSE WITH SPIDERS – PHOTO GALLERY

This picture was taken in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, in the mid-1990s. This spider caught my attention because of her egg-sac. A female wolf spider carries her egg-sac under her abdomen (it’s attached to her spinnarets). The egg-sac is relatively huge compared with the spider’s size.
