UP CLOSE WITH SPIDERS – PHOTO GALLERY
Is Jesus Christ the answer to your questions?
This picture was taken in Ulu Bruas, Perak, in the mid-1990s. A second flash unit was used to “bring out” the web. Argiope spiders hold their legs in pairs and align them with the X, or St. Andrew’s Cross, formed by laying down extra layers of silk. The zig-zag pattern of the thicker layers gives rise to another name, Signature Spiders.
