Eating is a messy affair for the male Kerengga Ant-like Jumper (Myrmarachne plataleoides) because of his ungainly “jaws”. He has to stab his prey repeatedly and suck out the body fluids of his victim. This one was photographed under a leaf with a tiny insect prey in his grasp. One of his fangs can be seen (the right one).
