The Kerengga
Ant-like Jumper... The female Myrmarachne plataleoides is an almost perfect copy of the kerengga, or weaver ant, (Oecophylla smaragdina). This one was photographed on a mango leaf, where it was waiting in ambush for prey under a very sparse web covering.
