The Blue Pansy, Junonia (Precis) orithya, is another
common butterfly. This species is sexually dimorphic, i.e. males and females don’t look alike.
The common name is obviously derived from the male of the species which has an unique colour
combination of blue and black. Fresh (and living) specimens give the illusion of having the deepest
blue colour.
