The Malay Red Harlequin (Paralaxita damajanti damajanti) is also a denizen of the
forest understorey and flies quite close to the ground. I think it is one
of Malaysia’s most beautiful butterflies. Someone once remarked to me that
this metalmark looks “so unreal, so plastic”.
