The Blue Glassy Tiger...
Sometimes you need to look up for butterflies. This Blue Glassy Tiger (Ideopsis vulgaris
macrina) was spotted hanging on to some dried vines streaming down from a tree in the Kuala Selangor Nature Park. A telephoto, rather than a macro lens, was used as the butterfly was some distance away. Flash light was also used and it balanced quite nicely with the sunlight filtering through the forest canopy.
